Food for Thought – Live in the present

I know… you’ve heard this many times before. Well there’s a reason – – it helps! When you’re wrapped up in remorse about the past and/or anxiety about the future, your stress level increases. You begin to live in fear and worry instead of focusing on and fully experiencing the present moment. I find that when I am able to live "in the now", I feel more productive and fulfilled throughout the day, and more refreshed at the end of the day, instead of drained and wondering where the time went. My senses are heightened and I feel more alert. A great way to begin to combat fear and stress is to live in the present. What can you do right now in this moment to make the most of your day?
