2) Let go of the “rat race” mindset – Make the decision not to buy into this mindset. Focus on the positive aspects of your day and look for possibilities, opportunities and solutions instead of dwelling on the hassles and things that drive you crazy. It seems to be human nature to commiserate with our friends about how busy we are and how hard we’re working. Try celebrating what’s great in your life instead. During the day, take time to acknowledge what you have accomplished. If it turns out to be one of those days when you didn’t cross off every single item on your list, take comfort in the fact that the world will most likely not come to an end; then relax, reflect and re-group.
