I Spoke to my career coaching client, Zach, the other day and he’s been offered a new job at a new restaurant! I’m thrilled for him because although this is not yet his dream job, it’s a great stepping stone towards it.
They want to offer him more money, for fewer hours. It’s the type of job he’s done for years so it will be an easy career transition for him to step into but will give him more time and money to pursue his dream. Plus the restaurant owners want him to help them with web design and marketing which is exactly what he wants to do long term!
This is a great opportunity for him to get his feet wet in that field and be able to create a portfolio to show prospective employers later. Congrats Zach!!
