I used to have a boss who would say “Do the right thing, not the easy thing.” She had many words of wisdom come to think of it, and at the time, to be honest, I wasn’t always open to hearing it because she was my boss. Now I realize time and time again that she was right. I even use some of her tidbits when I’m working with clients.
I read this quote again in my new “Quotations of Martin Luther King, Jr.” book I purchased at the Atlanta History Center. (By the way, if you live in Atlanta and have not yet seen the MLK exhibit at the History Center, I can’t recommend it highly enough. I was so moved I was misty-eyed reading some of his writings.)
“The time is always right to do what is right.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
Food for thought this week when you’re considering taking a short-cut you know you shouldn’t. Happy Monday, Hallie
