Part III: How to Deliver an Elevator Speech
When you deliver your elevator speech, you want it to be effortless and authentic. You want it to feel good and tap into your passion. Your personality needs to show through.
Here are some tips to help you get ready to deliver your speech:
- Set your intention before the event – what is your intention with the elevator speech?
- Write it on a note card
- Record it and play it back – do you sound confident, sincere, engaging?
- Practice on 3 people this week. What do they think?
- Ask your friends/family for help.
- Practice makes perfect!
