We’ve all been through it – career burnout. It’s happened to the best of us; the causes are many, including being in one job for a long time, playing the same role in a company but no longer feeling satisfied, major changes in your personal life that have changed your values/priorities, or simply being overworked. As a result, you’re less engaged, your morale suffers, and your productivity wanes.
The good news is that career burnout is treatable. Here are 10 tips that will help you get your career back on track so that you feel fulfilled, satisfied, and excited about going to work every day.
1. Assess
Take a step back and ask yourself, “What do I want in my job?” “How do I bring back passion in what I do?” Be honest with yourself and be realistic about your expectations.

2. Make a List
Put in writing the top five things you want to change about your current situation. Then assess if these changes can happen at your current job or if a job change is needed.
